Today we had the pleasure of having Jason Young, Director of Sales for the Kansas City T-Bones baseball team and Amberly Heslinga, Intern for the T-Bones speak during Career Cafe today. They gave a great presentation and discussed with students the importance of finding and completing internships during college. In working with the T-Bones they have many different responsibilities such as group sales, group promotions and occasionally helping with preparing the baseball field. This was the last Career Cafe for the school year. If you didn't sign up and attend a Career Cafe this year, I would encourage you to do so next year. It's a great opportunity to find out what interests you and what career possibilities exist. If you've never attended a T-Bones game go check them out this summer.
